Xavier 5C’s

At Xavier High School, we live the qualities which reflect the work and life of Jesus Christ. We are called to be challenged, compassionate, collaborative, courageous and Christ-like. The 5 Cs are our set of values which we ask our whole community to embrace in their day to day life.

Challenged:

Xavier students are encouraged to push themselves beyond their comfort zones, embracing challenges as opportunities for growth and learning. Whether it's tackling rigorous academic coursework, engaging in extracurricular activities, or confronting social issues, Xavier students are taught to approach challenges with determination and resilience.

Compassionate:

Compassion lies at the heart of the Xavier experience. Students, faculty, and staff are called to show kindness, empathy, and understanding toward one another and the broader community. Whether it's lending a listening ear to a friend in need, volunteering time to support those less fortunate, or standing up for justice and equality, compassion is woven into the fabric of daily life at Xavier.

Collaborative:

Collaboration is key to success at Xavier High School. Students are taught the importance of working together, recognising that true achievements often result from collective effort rather than individual endeavour. Through group projects, team sports, and community service initiatives, students learn to leverage their diverse talents and perspectives to achieve common goals.

Courageous:

Xavier students are encouraged to embody courage in all aspects of their lives. Whether it's speaking out against injustice, pursuing their passions despite adversity, or standing up for their beliefs, students are empowered to embrace fearlessness and resilience. The courage to take risks and persevere in the face of challenges is celebrated and nurtured within the Xavier community.

Christ-like:

At the core of Xavier's values is the aspiration to emulate the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. Students are called to embody the qualities of love, compassion, humility, and forgiveness in their interactions with others. By living according to Christ's principles, Xavier students strive to create a community characterised by faith, hope, and charity.

Xavier 5Cs

Together, the 5Cs form the foundation of Xavier High School's mission to educate, empower, and inspire students to lead lives of purpose and service. As members of the Xavier community, we are called to embrace these values in our daily lives, striving to make a positive difference in the world around us.
