Xavier High School’s Faith Formation Retreats are a cornerstone of our commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of both our students and staff.
We believe that spiritual growth is an integral part of education, and our retreat program reflects our commitment to fostering the holistic development of our students. Join us on this journey of self-discovery, reflection, and growth as we continue to support and empower the next generation of leaders in faith and community.
Our retreats are more than just events; they are transformative experiences designed to deepen connections with faith, self, and community. We understand the importance of providing opportunities for reflection and growth throughout the school year, which is why we have carefully crafted a series of retreats and formation days to cater to students from Year 7 to Year 12.
For students in Years 7 to 12, we offer a range of retreat experiences tailored to their age and stage of development. These include our Year 7 Retreat, providing a foundational introduction to spiritual growth; the Year 10 Retreat, where students delve deeper into their faith journey; the Year 11 Immersion Program/Retreat, offering a unique opportunity for service and cultural immersion; and finally, the Year 12 Retreat, a culminating experience to reflect on their time at Xavier and prepare for the next chapter of their lives.
Our commitment recognises the importance of continuous spiritual development, also offering Faith Formation Days for alternate year groups. These days are carefully designed to complement and build upon the themes explored during our retreats, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to engage meaningfully with their faith throughout their time at Xavier.
Led by a combination of dedicated Xavier staff and external presenters, our retreats and formation days provide a supportive and nurturing environment for students to explore their spirituality, develop meaningful connections with their peers, and deepen their understanding of themselves and the world around them.
