Hi, my name is Darren Wighton and I would like to share a little about myself.
I am a Wiradjuri descendant from Condobolin N.S.W, I live in Lavington, I am married to Michelle and we have two teenage sons, Ezekiel and Malachi. I am an established aboriginal artist and cultural performer and I enjoy learning and sharing all things of a cultural nature.
I was the pastor of the Albury Indigenous Church for a number of years and I have been a cultural mentor for the Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service for 2 years, where I also operated the Aboriginal ‘Men’s Shed’ program.
My interests and hobbies include; being a passionate Parramatta & North Melbourne supporter, fishing, camping and hunting and I love to travel and enjoy quality time with my large family.
I look forward to the opportunity of supporting students and staff of Xavier in all things Aboriginal.
Yours sincerely,
Darren Wighton
