Year 9 National Tree Planting Day At Splitters Creek

On Wednesday July 26th some year 9 students learnt about local council initiatives to improve the environment and protect threatened species, how to sort and manage waste products effectively, learnt about traditional Indigenous lifestyle and participated in spear throwing, and of course planted native trees and grasses. All up 1,200 trees were planted!
