This week has been a busy one for Year 11 students. Whilst some students are involved in our Immersion program, others have been involved in community service. Four of our boys, Sam, Justin, Nick and Tyrone have been busy at the Lutheran Aged Care facility. They have been getting to know the residents, talking and participating in all activities. When I visited, Justin was playing scrabble and Sam was busy learning the intricacies of poker from some older experts. Tyrone and Nick were working in the dementia wing and participating in the music and gentle exercise session. It was a rewarding experience for students and residents alike.
