Total Lunar Eclipse

On Wednesday night we saw a total eclipse of the moon. The eclipse means that the moon almost disappeared from view, as the light it usually reflects from the Sun was blocked by the Earth. What we saw was a blood red globe, as light bent around Earth’s atmosphere on its way from the sun to the moon. Sarah Maloney (year 9) and Patrick Maloney (year 10) were able to capture this on film and produce a time lapse image to show the process clearly.
