Project V was a fun time with a great group of people. It was surreal being at the school after hours and very cool to sleep in the beanbags. I really enjoyed getting to know new people, especially during our challenges like, ‘toilet paper dress making’, ‘no hands donut eating ‘and the ‘dance off’.
It’s a really cool initiative where we raised money for a worthy charity and at the same time had a lot of fun and pizza.Nick Hayes
Project V is a sleep out that raises money for the Vinnies Winter Appeal, while also raising awareness through sleeping a little bit tough for one night not in the comfort of your own home.
The night was filled with laughter and fun, we kicked off with some crowd favourite games, such as the toilet paper bride and the donut game, then sat together and enjoyed a delicious pizza dinner, the night having a relaxing atmosphere. After dinner we had a dance off and a the youth representative from Vinnies, Angela Larkin, joined us and shared her journey and commended the attendance on the night. The night had a variety of attendance varying from year 7 to 12, and we welcome any others to attend next years project V as we hope that it continues to flourish and grow in the coming years.
Thank you to all who made Project V possible, including both the students and staff, who took the time out of their busy lives to help make the night a massive success.Shay Rawlings and Cecilia Voss
