Parents & Kids Together (PAKT) Program – September Program

Dear Xavier High School (XHS) Families,

We are writing to share some exciting news with you!
The Parents & Kids Together (PAKT) Program is an initiative of the Parent Liaison Group and XHS, and has been developed to encourage discussion, networking and education about social issues families are dealing with regarding the adolescent journey through high school.

PAKT aims to offer a forum for invited speakers to provide families with information and to answer questions on some challenging issues that concern us all.

To kick off the PAKT program, staff from our local children’s mental health service will be presenting two sessions in September.  These two sessions will be held during lunchtime, 12:45pm to 1:35pm, in the Agora Theatre at XHS.  These sessions are open to parents of Xavier High School students only and all parents must sign in through the office on arrival.

  • Session 1   Tuesday September 5   – Self Harm
  • Session 2 Tuesday September 12 – Anxiety/Depression

Please click here to RSVP to the sessions

As we move forward with this program and to ensure we address the most relevant topics affecting families in our community, we would appreciate any ideas or thoughts you may have regarding the format and content of the sessions. We would be most grateful if you could access the survey to answer a short questionnaire to have your say.

Let’s make PAKT a program we can all take ownership of and provide a forum that supports all of the XHS community.

We look forward to seeing you at the sessions in September.

Kind Regards
