A group of Xavier students and staff volunteered at the Border NRL NAIDOC Gala Day.
The event aimed to bring communities together to celebrate NAIDOC and build rugby league football skills.
The event featured:
- 600 primary students from 11 local schools
- 100 High school students from Xavier, Murray, James Fallon and Albury HS
- NRL staff
- Local Aboriginal organisations
- Johnny Murray
- Albury City Council
- DJ Stevie Bowen
- Benjo and Pastor Darren
Thanks to the help of teachers and high school students it was one of the biggest days of development on the border and all the participants enjoyed the festivities.
