Fr Richard Leonard is visiting Albury and will be speaking at the Xavier High School Performing Arts Centre on Sunday, 30th October from 5:00 – 6:00pm. Fr Richard is a Jesuit priest with degrees in arts and education, as well as a Master’s degree in theology. He directs the Australian Catholic Office for Film & Broadcasting, is an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Catholic University. He has lectured on faith and culture all over the world, and has been published in America Magazine, Eureka Street, US Catholics, is regular columnist with The London Tablet and is often on ABC Radio. He is the author of nine books including the religious best sellers: “Where the Hell is God?” and “Why Bother Praying?” His most recent book “What’s it all About? The Big Questions of Faith” will be released soon.
Fr Richard’s presentation will be “Liturgy: God’s great love meets our frailty” where he will explore how we reclaim and celebrate a liturgy that is hospitable, bold, inclusive and Catholic?
