An ‘On the Couch Conversation’ with Matina Jewell

Border Trust is proud to announce our 3rd annual On the Couch conversation featuring retired UN Peacekeeper and extraordinary local, Matina Jewell.

Matina’s distinguished military career culminated with a coveted posting to serve as part of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organisation (UNTSO) in the Middle East where she was “Caught in the Crossfire” when full-scale war erupted between Israel and Lebanon in 2006.

Featured in a two part ABC Australian Story television special, Matina today holds a number of distinguished Government and not for profit board positions. She now lives locally in Wodonga with her husband and daughter.
