On the Morning of April 25, 2017, Anzac Day dawned on us. The rain fell heavy, just as it would of on the faces of the soldiers fighting at Gallipoli in 1914. As a Xavier community we gathered to march proudly and pay our respects to those who have fought and given their lives for our country in World War 1.
We are abundantly proud of the number of students who were involved in the Anzac Day March, holding a great reflection on our Xavier community.
Students marched proud with medals of their ancestors and a wreath was layed at the base of the monument.
Lest we forget.
On Wednesday April 26th our students returned to school for their first day of term 2. We gathered in the CAPA hall to conduct our own Anzac Service as a whole school.
